Arizona ESA

CMASAS proudly serves Arizona families through the state’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program. Arizona offers universal ESA access to all K–12 students who are eligible to attend an Arizona public school. Families who choose to opt out of public school — including those already enrolled in private or homeschool settings — may use ESA funds to enroll full-time at CMASAS.

Through the Arizona ESA program, families can apply their awarded funds toward tuition and other approved educational expenses, making accredited, online K–12 education accessible. Requirements include proof of Arizona residency and an official birth certificate, as outlined by the Arizona Department of Education.

Tennessee ESA

CMASAS is an approved non-public school provider for the Tennessee Education Savings Account (ESA) program. Eligible families may direct their state education funds toward tuition and qualified educational expenses at CMASAS.

The Tennessee ESA program currently serves families zoned for Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Hamilton County Schools, and schools within the Achievement School District (ASD), with eligibility also based on household income requirements. If you reside in an eligible district and are exploring school choice options in Tennessee, CMASAS is honored to support your student’s educational journey.

Texas Ed Freedom Accounts (TEFA)

CMASAS is officially approved as a Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) private school provider for the 2026–27 school year. Families accepted into the TEFA program may use their awarded funds to enroll full-time at CMASAS and access flexible, accredited, online K–12 education.

Eligible students may receive $10,474, with students who have qualifying disabilities potentially eligible for up to $30,000. Applications are open through March 17, 2026 and families may apply at any time during the window without affecting funding eligibility.

The Benefits of Customized Education Funding

Scholarship

What is the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)?

ESA programs give eligible families in certain states public funding to pursue flexible options for customizing their children’s education. It is intended to expand educational opportunities outside of the public school system for a wide range of personalized education expenses, including private school tuition, curricula, tutoring, textbooks, and more. This means that the funding typically used in a neighborhood public school can follow your child to an education that fits their individual needs.

Currently, CMASAS is an approved Arizona ESA and Tennessee ESA school. Residents of Arizona or Tennessee have the option to use ESA funds toward tuition costs at CMASAS. As an approved ESA school, CMASAS offers flexible, personalized online learning supported by an experienced team of Personalized Education Coaches (PECs), Course Instructors (CIs), Counselor, and Staff.

Transition to a Dedicated Personalized Education Coach

Making the leap from a brick-and-mortar public school to a private online school is easy when you have a dedicated coach who meets with you weekly. Our Gold Standard plan includes one-on-one guidance from a Personal Education Coach (PEC) who provides academic and social support, helping students succeed on their personalized path. This is one of the biggest differentiators CMASAS has to offer its students. PECs are available to answer any questions within 24 hours and are there to help navigate coursework, assignments, and goals.

"Going to school can be mundane and repetitive, but CMASAS is different. I’m able to get my school credits from home at a personalized pace. Being a recipient of the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship helped make this experience affordable for my family."
