CMASAS is a WASC-accredited, NCAA-approved, fully online K–12 private school and an approved Tennessee ESA vendor. Your education dollars follow your child here, for families zoned to Memphis, Nashville, or Chattanooga.

Apply for Your Tennessee ESA Funds
Apply at tn.gov/education/esa. Create an account, verify Tennessee residency in an eligible district (Memphis-Shelby County, Metro Nashville, or Hamilton County), and provide your child's birth certificate. To verify your eligibility or check application status, contact the Tennessee Department of Education directly at ESA.Applications@tn.gov.

Select CMASAS as Your Education Provider via the TN ESA portal
Once your ESA is funded, select CMASAS as your school of choice. CMASAS is an approved Tennessee ESA provider —payment processes directly with no out-of-pocket expense or reimbursement required.
Complete Enrollment and Choose Your Tuition Plan
Select your tuition plan and start date, then complete the CMASAS registration form. We enroll year-round, no waiting for a semester to begin. School selection must be submitted and verified by June 30 each year.
Begin Your Personalized Learning Journey
Your child is matched with a dedicated Personalized Education Coach (PEC) for weekly 1:1 support and a fully Personalized Education Plan (PEP). Your ESA award applies directly to tuition. To remain eligible for funding, students must maintain Tennessee residency throughout the program year.
The Tennessee ESA program provides eligible families with state and local education funds applied directly toward approved school expenses, including full tuition at CMASAS. The award is recalculated annually.

Every approved student receives the same award amount regardless of grade level or family size. Elementary through high school all qualify.
Tennessee ESA Eligibility
The Tennessee ESA program has three core requirements. All three must be met. Contact the Tennessee Department of Education directly to verify your specific eligibility.
Zoned for an Eligible District
Your student must be zoned to attend a school in Memphis–Shelby County Schools, Metro Nashville Public Schools, or Hamilton County Schools or a school that was part of the Achievement School District (ASD) as of May 24, 2019.
Household Income Limit
Your household income must not exceed 200% of the federal income eligibility guidelines for the free lunch program. Visit tn.gov/education/esa or contact the Tennessee DOE directly at ESA.Applications@tn.gov to confirm current income thresholds.
Annual Reapplication Required
ESA is not a one-time award. Students must reapply each year and verify their address and income eligibility annually directly with the Tennessee Department of Education.

The Tennessee ESA program is available to families zoned to one of these three school districts. Your home address must fall within one of these zones to qualify, and you must maintain Tennessee residency throughout the program year to remain eligible.
