CMASAS Clubs

Did you know that sea otters hold hands when they sleep to keep from drifting apart and that butterflies taste with their feet? If you love animals and would like to learn more about them, then this club is for you! Some of the topics we will cover are jobs associated with animals, animal habitats, favorite animals and why, unusual & exotic animals, our pets, and so much more!

Let's share our passion for cooking and baking! This is a hands-on club and we will be baking and cooking each meeting "together." This is a great way to express your creativity or learn some new skills in the kitchen!

In Book Club we will discuss the book we read for the previous month and pre-read the upcoming month's book. We will also discuss what we are currently reading for fun and random book/author topics. In between meetings, we will use the Teams chat and/or Goodreads to discuss what we are reading and recommend books to each other.

Welcome to Chess Club! If you are interested in playing chess with fellow CMASAS students or improving your game, this is the club for you! Each club meeting members will play against each other in various time formats. We will also have an end-of-year tournament to determine who is the master of all!

This club is for all high school students who are interested in going to college after high school. We meet once a month to cover a variety of topics related to applying to college, preparing for college, meeting all requirements to apply to college, scholarships, and more. I present/cover topics, but also students are highly encouraged to send topics they would like to have covered and/or bring questions to ask each month. Your parents are welcome to attend meetings with you, as well.

Get Ready for a Global Adventure! This isn't your typical club; it's your passport to discovering the world. We'll dive into fascinating world events, learn traditional games, celebrate different holidays, and discover unique activities from cultures far and wide. Your World, Your Way! Each month, we’ll shine a spotlight on a new culture, and you'll get to help pick which ones we explore!

If you are a Disney fan, this club is for you! This club will give students the opportunity to connect with others who have a passion for everything Disney and will be a great way to make new friends. We will discuss our favorite movies, favorite characters, hidden secrets in the park/movies and more! There will even be some Disney trivia games.

Join us in exploring the many ways to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. The Health & Wellness Club offers a variety of activities including yoga, breathing exercises, journaling, meditation, and fun challenges like walking or running goals. We’ll also dive into topics like nutritious eating, Blue Zone lifestyles, and other practices that support long-term health.

Welcome to Mario Cart Club! Time to get your game on! From casual races and battles to challenges and tournaments, we play all things Mario Kart! A Nintendo switch & Nintendo switch online membership are required to play. If you would like to join just to spectate, you are more than welcome to.

National Honor Society is a nationally recognized student leader organization. We have a set of bylaws we are required to to keep up to date and adhere to keep our membership. Furthermore, we must pay NHS "chapter dues" each year. Also, all student members pay yearly dues, must perform a certain amount of hours every year. Members must follow a strict set of guidelines in an application process to become members. We meet monthly from August through May of each school year.

Calling all puzzle lovers! Join us for virtual jigsaw puzzles, escape rooms, Sudoku, riddles, and fun brain games that challenge your thinking while building teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Come ready to think, laugh, and solve together!

Come play a fun and fast-paced game with your friends! Smash Karts is an exciting way to socialize and chat with other CMASAS students while playing a game. Anyone in grades 6-12 is welcome to join, and students will determine the gameplay. Hope to see you there!

Welcome to CMASAS's student council. Here at the council students meet twice a month to discuss social issues important to us and help each other find ways to get directly involved with them. We also work together to make our voices heard in the school and impact it positively.

Study Power Hour is a quiet, focused online club designed to help you dedicate one full hour to productive work. At the start, members share their goals, then spend the session working independently alongside peers. We end by reflecting on progress and celebrating accomplishments together.

Welcome to Word Club! This club is all about having fun with words and language. You'll improve your vocabulary and sharpen your spelling skills while playing engaging word games. From crossword puzzles to a variety of classic word challenges, there's always a new game to participate in. Plus, you'll have the chance to meet new friends who share your passion for words. Join is for an enjoyable experience while we learn, play and connect through the power of words.
