The founding of our school was inspired by our namesake, Christa
McAuliffe,
who was selected to become the first schoolteacher to fly into space. Her mission was aboard the Space
Shuttle
Challenger, where she served as a payload specialist. Her desire to inspire future generations continues
to be
fostered at our school through our Personalized Education Model. We are committed to honor Christa
McAuliffe
by educating the next generation of leaders, scientists, philosophers, artists, and teachers.
