(Regional Gathering in Portland, Oregon)
We organize regional gatherings throughout the school year. These are opportunities for CMASAS students to get together to meet and explore the local area. Each regional gathering is personalized and based on student interests and local attractions.
We are looking forward to meeting our East Coast families at the end of Summer at our next regional gathering on Saturday, September 7th, 2019! The group coordinator is our co-founder Christopher Geis and his wife Linda Geis. They will meet everyone at 10:30am EST before participating in Boston's Freedom Trail Walk Into History Tour. Please sign up for the gathering by Friday, August 29th.

We offer students a physical graduation ceremony each year at various locations throughout the United States. While not all students choose to or are able to attend, we feel the importance of providing a culminating high school experience for students is essential to our philosophy and personalized touch. Each year, our graduating class continues to grow! While we are sad to see them go, we are excited to see what future holds for them.

Our international trips are different from our regional gatherings in that they are extensive multi-day trips that explore an area while our regional gatherings are local half-day gatherings to provide a combined social and educational setting to meet other students and faculty.
Our international trips may offer students the choice to receive elective credit.

This year we had our first CMASAS all-school assembly! More than 80 students, staff, and family members logged online to participate in the virtual event. Assemblies are an opportunity to hear school announcements, interact with fellow students, and listen to a guest speaker.
For our 2019 winter assembly, we had the pleasure of listening to Joe Nowicki speak about his experience as a Navy Pilot.
Stay tuned for more details on our next school assembly. Our goal is to host one once per quarter.
For our 2019 summer assembly, we invited Elisabeth Dahl, author of the book Genie Wishes, to join us and speak to CMASAS students!
