The Reading with Chickens program was designed to address falling literacy rates among elementary aged kids by providing a unique opportunity to read to chickens and giving the kids the reading practice they need. Our goal was to get the kids reading with the help of volunteers that held the chickens and encouraged the kids to try their best!
