Biography

Jeanne Niewoehner is a Personalized Education Coach (PEC) and Course Instructor (CI) at Christa McAuliffe Academy School of Arts and Sciences (CMASAS). She graduated from Lafayette College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and from Cabrini College with a master’s degree in Special Education. This training has broadened her ability to reach students from those who need support to those who need enrichment and enhancement. She has certificates in Special Education, Biology, Middle School Science, and Middle School Math. To Jeanne, learning is more than going through each subject and checking off tasks. She strives to find ways to help students accomplish lateral thinking or a desire to continue to learn more. She considers herself a life-long learner in addition to being an educator. There are so many ways to learn, and she will strive to find the tools to make each learning experience enjoyable and relatable. Jeanne lives with her husband, teenage son, and three cats. She loves spending time at the ball field, traveling to visit with family and friends, and volunteering at the local cat shelter.
