FINDING YOUR PASSION
In Fall 2023, CMASAS hosted an enlightening assembly featuring Rebecca Blum, a veteran in the film and television industry. The assembly stood out for its remarkable ability to not only inspire students to navigate their paths in the entertainment production industry but also to illustrate the diverse ways in which students can harness the world around them to chart the
best course for their aspirations.
PERSONALIZED EDUCATION COACH PERSPECTIVE
Being a Personalized Education Coach (PEC) at CMASAS is a very rewarding job. I have the privilege of working one-on-one with students each week to plan and enroll in courses, check in on progress, set short and long-term goals, help advocate when needed, and generally help them to become independent, fully-functioning, self-aware, self-advocating masters of themselves. I like to think of it as being their “guide at the side.”
