One of our values at CMASAS is to come alongside families on the journey that is educating their children. Because circumstances change, children grow and life continues to throw us curve balls, educating our kids truly is a journey.
That’s why we are inviting parents to join CMASAS co-founder Tamra Excell in a live webinar, as she presents practical tips and resources that can help parents navigate through their own personal homeschooling journey.
During the webinar, Tamra will be sharing insight into topics like:
- Resources for learning needs and preferences
- How to grade assignments
- Helping students stay socialized
- How is homework integrated?
- >How to avoid common pitfalls
- How to stay legal
- How to prepare students for college
Parents will also have a chance to submit questions for Tamra to address during the webinar, which will make conversations relevant and personal.
With in-depth insight and broad overviews, Tamra’s webinar will be a great resource for both first time homeschoolers and seasoned educators. We recognize that though some families have specifically chosen to adopt the homeschooling lifestyle, that other parents may find themselves as “accidental homeschoolers” who quickly need help getting started and avoiding common pitfalls. As raising children is a journey, many parents find that they didn’t set out to homeschool their children but quickly decided to make the switch because of some life altering circumstance. The move from traditional school to homeschool can be a challenging transition and we wish to provide parents with resources and support to make them feel empowered and equipped.
