STEM Club Elementary

Welcome to the STEM Club. Any elementary student in CMA is welcome to join the club. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Club is an interactive discussion group initiated by student interest. Vibrant discussion time twice per month. Our extremely engaged students have explored and discussed Bubbles, Space X Mars Colonization, String Theory, Endangered Species, Newton’s Law of Gravity, Sound Waves, and Optical Illusions to name a few. STEM club is a place where students get to engage with mathematical, scientific, technological or engineering content shared in unique ways that promotes hands-on discovery (and sometimes makes a mess). The STEM Club is aimed at motivated students in elementary grades who have mastered the basic mathematical, scientific, technological or engineering skills. The main objective of this class is to introduce young students to the elements of STEM culture, view math, science, technology and engineering in real-world ways and challenge ideas using age-appropriate activities.
